BESA IS THE FIRST SERIES FROM SERBIA TO BE INCLUDED IN THE

SELECTION OF THE PRESTIGIOUS FESTIVAL

ESTONIA, 19.11.2021.

The second season of BESA series, a crime drama that connects 8 countries and actors from different countries, will have its world premiere on November 22 at the prestigious Black Nights film festival, which is being held in Estonia.

The new season of BESA series, filmed in production by Adrenalin and Telekom Srbija, is not only the first series from Serbia to be included in the prestigious festival, but also serbian first series filmed in Estonia at locations used by world-famous directors such as Andrei Tarkovsky and Christopher Nolan.

As the organizers of the festival announced today, the second season of BESA series was included in a selection of 181 projects from 74 countries around the world, which will be presented to critics and spectators at the festival, which will be held from November 12 to 28.

“Like any producer, it is important for me that the series is well positioned on the international market and confirms its success at festivals, but I must admit, the reaction of the audience is even more important and that is why I am very excited about the world premiere of the second season. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to win the heart of an ordinary viewer, and you can only do that with a good story and careful casting. Everything else is a standard that is simply taken for granted in today’s production of drama series, “said Tea Korolija, producer of the series Besa and director of Adrenalin.

The BLACK NIGHTS Film Festival is the only festival in northern Europe and the Baltic region, and belongs to a group of festivals that include festivals such as Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Karlovy Vary, Warsaw and San Sebastian.

Our viewers can watch the new episodes from November 27 on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 pm on SUPERSTAR, and a couple of days later, and on December 1, on PRVA TV.
