Wikipedia in the Serbian language has more than 640,000 articles and currently ranks 20th on the list of all Wikipedias. It is the result of the work of numerous volunteers, pupils, and students, cultural institutions, institutes, and associations in order to promote education and raise awareness of its importance, which brings together Wikimedia, an association for collecting and disseminating free knowledge.
